Horizontal Dissolved Air Flotation Machine
The horizontal dissolved air flotation (DAF) machine is a high-efficiency device for solid-liquid and liquid-liquid separation. Through a dissolved-air system, air is dissolved in water under pressure and then released as fine micro-bubbles under reduced pressure. The bubbles attach to suspended solids, oil and other impurities, carrying them to the surface where they are skimmed off by a scum scraper. Offering good treatment performance and simple operation, it is widely used in oily wastewater, papermaking wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, and food processing wastewater.
The horizontal-flow dissolved air flotation (DAF) unit is a high-efficiency air flotation separation device. Through the air dissolving system, air is dissolved in water under pressure to form dissolved air water. After pressure release through the releaser, a large number of fine micro-bubbles are released. The bubbles attach to impurities such as suspended solids and oil/grease in the wastewater and float to the water surface, where they are continuously skimmed off by the scum skimmer, thereby achieving solid-liquid and liquid-liquid separation.
The equipment consists of a flotation tank, air dissolving system, releaser, scum skimmer and water collection system. The micro-bubbles are small in diameter, numerous and evenly distributed, providing high separation efficiency. It can effectively remove pollutants such as suspended solids, oil/grease and colloids from wastewater, producing good effluent quality.
The equipment has a compact structure and small footprint, a high degree of automation, and is easy to operate and maintain. It can be flexibly combined with coagulation-sedimentation, biological treatment and other processes to adapt to different water qualities and treatment requirements.
It is widely used for pretreatment and advanced treatment of oily wastewater, papermaking wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, food processing wastewater, slaughterhouse wastewater and various industrial wastewaters.
