
Modular Integrated Sewage Treatment Equipment
With the rapid growth of the national economy and rising living standards, urban water demand keeps increasing while most cities face serious water shortages. To address this, wastewater resource recovery is essential—treating municipal sewage through specialized equipment for reuse. Jointly developed by our R&D team and the MBR membrane application center, this integrated water reclamation unit combines sewage treatment and reuse in one system. It is a self-designed, integrated wastewater treatment and reuse device built around a membrane bioreactor (MBR) as the core process. Our anti-fouling MBR membrane features internationally advanced core technology, filling a domestic gap. Dozens of large-scale demonstration projects have been built, making it the ideal technology for energy saving, emission reduction and capacity expansion. Our integrated MBR products have been exported to developed markets including the US and Australia, delivering outstanding environmental and economic benefits.
This unit features containerized functionality: it integrates the anoxic tank, MBR bioreactor tank, sludge tank, clean water tank and equipment operation room into a single large container. It offers a compact structure, a streamlined process, a small footprint (only 1/3–1/2 of conventional processes), convenient incremental expansion, a high degree of automation, and easy operation and maintenance. It can also be moved anytime and anywhere — the unit can be transported directly to the treatment site and put into large-scale operation immediately, without any secondary construction.
It combines sewage treatment and water purification processes in a single unit, and can be shallow-buried underground or installed above ground. The treatment process produces almost no sludge and has no impact on the surrounding environment. It delivers excellent treatment performance, high reliability, stable effluent quality and low operating costs. When treating municipal wastewater, it withstands shock loads, removes pollutants with high efficiency, and has strong nitrification capacity; it can perform nitrification and denitrification simultaneously while providing nitrogen and phosphorus removal. It is ideally suited for treating municipal and decentralized wastewater. The effluent can be reused or discharged directly in compliance with standards, meeting the diverse water quality requirements of different users.
The clean water disinfection tank is filled with media made from a new type of environmentally friendly active ionic material, which not only provides sterilization and disinfection but also effectively removes heavy metal ions from the effluent. This overcomes the secondary pollution caused by chemical-wash disinfection while lowering the heavy metal concentration in the effluent, greatly improving the quality of the reclaimed water. The aeration piping of the membrane bioreactor is divided into two circuits: one aerates the surrounding activated sludge, and the other aerates the membrane sheets of the membrane module. The advantage is that the scouring force generated by aeration on the membrane sheets makes them flap against each other, which shakes off calcified sludge adhering to the membrane pore surfaces, greatly increasing membrane flux and extending the membrane service life, thereby reducing operating costs.
The modular integrated sewage treatment equipment of Shandong Rihong Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. adopts AO, A2O, MBR, MBBR and other processes, with a maximum treatment capacity of 500 m³/d. The effluent/treatment results can meet the sewer discharge standard, Grade 1A standard, Class V surface water standard, and others. It is widely used in domestic sewage, school sewage, medical sewage and other fields.

FRP Underground Sewage Treatment Equipment
