The peripheral-drive sludge scraper and suction machine is suitable for large-diameter circular sedimentation tanks. The drive unit is located at the tank edge, rotating the scraper truss around the tank center to scrape and discharge bottom sludge, suitable for primary and secondary clarifiers of large wastewater treatment plants.
The peripheral-driven scraper/suction sludge collector is a sludge discharge device suitable for large-diameter circular sedimentation tanks. The drive unit is installed at the tank edge and runs along the peripheral rail on traveling wheels, driving the scraper truss to rotate around the center of the tank to complete sludge scraping and discharge.
Working Principle
The tank-edge drive unit rotates the scraper truss slowly around the center; the scraper blades on the truss scrape the sludge at the bottom toward the central sludge hopper, and the suction pipes draw the sludge out of the tank. The scum is collected and discharged by the scum skimming device.
