Truss-Type Sludge Scraper & Suction Machine

The truss-type sludge scraper and suction machine (bridge-type scraper-suction machine) is dedicated sludge removal equipment for horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks. It consists of a truss bridge, sludge scraping mechanism, sludge suction system and drive device. By reciprocating along the track, the bridge scrapes and discharges the sludge at the bottom of the tank, making it the key equipment for automatic sludge removal in sedimentation tanks.

Working principle: the bridge travels back and forth along the longitudinal track of the sedimentation tank. The scraper plates scrape the sludge at the tank bottom toward the suction ports, and the sludge suction pump discharges the sludge out of the tank through the suction pipes. The entire process of bridge travel, scraping and suction is automatically controlled, enabling continuous or intermittent sludge discharge.

The equipment removes sludge thoroughly with no dead corners of accumulated sludge at the tank bottom, runs smoothly with a low failure rate, and has a high degree of automation. The sludge discharge cycle can be automatically adjusted according to the sludge volume. It has a sturdy, corrosion-resistant structure and can adapt to sedimentation tanks of different sizes.

It is widely used for sludge removal in horizontal-flow sedimentation tanks at water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment stations.
