Waste Gas Treatment Project for Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Station

Project Overview

This project is a waste gas treatment facility for a wastewater treatment station in an industrial park, collecting and purifying the malodorous gases generated during station operation. It adopts a "collection + biological deodorization" process to effectively remove hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and other malodorous substances, improving the air quality of the park and surrounding areas.

Project Background

During the operation of the industrial park's wastewater treatment station, structures such as the screen room, equalization tank and sludge thickening tank emit malodorous gases, mainly composed of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and mercaptans, which affect the park environment and the lives of nearby residents. To address this, the park commissioned us to construct an exhaust gas treatment project for the wastewater station.

Treatment Process

This project adopts a "sealed collection + biological deodorization" process:

  • Exhaust Gas Collection: odor-producing structures are covered and sealed, and the gases are collected centrally through ducts;
  • Biological Deodorization: the odorous gases enter the biological deodorization unit, where the malodorous substances are degraded by microorganisms into harmless substances;
  • Compliant Discharge: the purified gas is discharged up to standard through the exhaust stack.

Project Results

After commissioning, the odor problem around the wastewater treatment station was effectively resolved, with high deodorization efficiency and no secondary pollution, and the environmental quality of the park was significantly improved.
