Biological Deodorization

The biological deodorization equipment uses microorganisms to degrade malodorous substances in exhaust gases, converting them into harmless carbon dioxide and water. It is suitable for odor control at wastewater treatment plants, waste transfer stations, livestock farms and similar facilities.

The biological deodorization equipment is an exhaust gas treatment device that uses the metabolic action of microorganisms to degrade malodorous substances. When the odor passes through the packing layer, the malodorous components (such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, mercaptans, etc.) are adsorbed by the microorganisms on the packing surface and degraded into harmless substances.

Working Principle

After pre-washing, the odor enters the biological packing layer. The malodorous substances transfer from the gas phase to the biofilm on the packing surface, where they are decomposed and utilized by microorganisms as nutrients, ultimately producing carbon dioxide, water and inorganic salts. The purified gas is discharged in compliance with standards.
